Animal Crossing: New Horizons nature encyclopedia is revealed
In the last two years, cruce of animals: new horizons has become one of the largest games in Nintendo Switch, attracting players of a wide variety of ages. Fishing, insect hunting and fossil collection play an important role in the appeal of the game, and players even learn real life data about these creatures while playing. Nintendo plans to further develop the educational aspect of the game thanks to a new encyclopedia of nature that will be launched in July. Published by Kodansha, the book will include real information about these creatures and will even come with a 57 -minute DVD.
The images of the book were shared on Twitter by siliconera and can be found in the tweet embedded below.
According to Era of Silicon, the book will provide information on how to obtain fish and insects in the game, so it will be a great tool for players, as well as those interested in learning about nature. Unfortunately, the book is only scheduled to launch in Japan, from this writing. Given the worldwide popularity of Animal Crossing, it is possible that an international launch may be given, if the demand is high enough. However, for now, fans in North America have no luck!
It has been interesting to see how Animal Crossing has become an important franchise for Nintendo. Since its debut in 2001, the series has maintained a base of passionate fans, but the previous Games of Animal Crossing were sold modestly compared to other Nintendo franchises. As of this month, new horizons_ has sold 38.64 million copies worldwide, which makes it the second best -selling game in Switch. For the sake of the comparison, the previous best -selling game of the series was cruce of animals: new leaf, which sold 12.97 million copies. It is not difficult to imagine that many of the fans of the game would accept this type of encyclopedia of nature, so we hope to see it translated into the near future.
Cruce of animals: new horizons is now available, exclusively in Nintendo Switch. Readers can consult all previous game coverage here.
