Nintendo: Plans to add new NES and SNES retro games in Switch?
Nintendo Switch continues to benefit from new launches regularly, the Japanese manufacturer also recently revealed that NES and SNES games would be implemented at an “irregular” rhythm in the console. Recently, a mysterious tweet could have “filtered” the next disembarkation of certain games (for a fee) for these two consoles very soon.
Release of NES and SNES games?
As the Twitter Ninstatusbot account says the maintenance of Nintendo Switch dedicated applications dedicated to Nintendo Switch was scheduled for Wednesday night on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 02:55 to 04:00 (time peninsular). Well, said so it may seem anecdotal, but not so much in reality!

In fact, it is quite common for the Nintendo Switch manufacturer to start more or less short maintenance before deploying new retro games. The most recent example of such an event took place immediately after the Nintendo Direct on February 9.
At the end of the afternoon there had been maintenance of the same duration as planned for this week, 1h05. Just after, players had the honor to discover that EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings , with the famous Ness had been added to the catalog of games available in Switch. Good news for the nostalgic, or even for those who would like to discover the games of the time!
Other very similar maintenance have already been made in the past, as well as the most recent mentioned above. One took place in July 2021, for example, and also added new titles of NES and SNES, while last January, the dedicated application of Nintendo 64 also received maintenance just before the launch of the famous Banjo-Kazooie .
Finally, at the end of 2021, another maintenance took place very similar in the application dedicated to MegaDrive and supposed an opportunity for the manufacturer to deploy four new retro games from this console.
All these examples seem to tend to a deployment this Thursday, March 31, 2022 of at least one new game of the two mentioned consoles. But then, what game (s) could (n) be? We will be very attentive!
