Resident Evil on Netflix: Live Action series has start date and new teaser

The Resident Evil series is no longer flickering only about the screens of video game fans. Also in the cinema, the horror franchise with eight live action and multiple animation films is an established size. This year, the next chapter with a live action series is opened on Netflix and for which is finally a start date.

Netflix has announced a long time ago that you are currently producing a series of Resident Evil. This is based on the video games, but tells a very own story around the daughters of Albert Wesker.

When does the series go to the start? How Netflix has confirmed now, Resident Evil will be 14. July 2022 appear. Suitable there are also three new pictures that are unusually colorful. FIRST LOOK at Live-Action Resident Evil Series for Netflix


What will it go? The series plays in 2036 – 14 years after a deadly virus triggered a global disaster. Jade Wesker has to fight through the world ruling by bloodthirsty infected and other creatures. She again experiences her past in New Raccoon City, as her father, Albert Wesker, associated with Umbrella Corporation and what happened to her sister Billie.

The roles of the individual actors * inside is not yet known – away from Albert Wesker. The popular antagonist of the series is played by Lance Reddick, who also embodied Sylens in Horizon Forbidden West. Furthermore, among other things, Ella Balinska (Forspoken), Tamara Smart (Are You Afraid of the Dark?) And Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) are included.

There is not yet a trailer for the series yet. But now the marketing starts so slowly, this should soon be submitted. It remains exciting to see how Netflix Resident Evil will implement. Especially the movies are more likely to look a bit cheaper and fall more into the Trash genre.
