Planet The discounts in the PS Store: To the offers

Resident Evil Village

The right game for: all who want a spectacularly staged horror shooter.

Not so good for: all, the real survival horror expect.

Evil score: 87 points

Resident Evil 8 gets her for PS4 and PS5 60 percent cheaper, so for 27.99 euros instead of 69.99 euros.

Vampires instead of zombies: Resident Evil Village connects directly to Resident Evil 7. We again play Ethan Winter, who actually only wants to live a quiet life after his escape from the house of the Bakers. When his child is kidnapped, he has to go on the search for him, which leads him to a small Romanian village. Not only the place is unusual for a Resident Evil, even the opponents are: instead of with zombies we get it with vampires and were wolves.

More shooters, less horror: The gameplay Resident Evil Village remains faithful to the predecessor insofar as we control Ethan again from the ECO perspective. Otherwise, however, a lot has changed: The horror has been significantly reduced, but there is more action. In addition, Resident Evil 8 plays like a shooter with gruse elements. For this, the staging is even more expensive than in its predecessor and the style design as well as the levels are much more varied.

Conclusion: A nerve-rip-up survival horror game is not Resident Evil Village, even if it is still scary, and from a classic Resident Evil it is further away as part 7. But you get a great staged horror Shooter, who brings fresh wind and variety into the series with his vampires and werewolves. For those who want to go on an action-rich grude adventure, Resident Evil 8 is therefore a clear recommendation.

Demon’s soul

The right game for: all who like challenges.

Not so good for: all who have frustrated quickly.

Evil score: 90 points

With the remake of the classic Demon’s Souls you get in PSN Sale one of the first big exclusive PS5 hits cheaper, for 49.59 euros instead of 79.99 euros.

Completely retreaded: With the PS5 remake, the originally displayed for PS3 action game was technically completely retreaded. The gloomy style was naturally retained, but many new details and effects expanded, making the new Demon’s soul greatly looks great. You can now also choose between liquid 60 fps and 4K resolution. The orchestral soundtrack and the sound effects was also completely recaptured.

Hard but fair: On the gameplay, however, everything remained at the old one to a few detail improvements. As in the Souls series, we attach ourselves to a gloomy world with fearsome monsters and have to be careful not to be hit as possible from their attacks, otherwise we quickly bite into the grass. Demon’s soul is not the heaviest game of the series, especially the boss fights are a bit lighter. With its five different areas, it is also quite varied.

Conclusion: If you like the games of the Souls series, Demon’s Souls is a must for you, regardless of whether you have already played the original or not. The technical retreading justifies the new purchase. Also for the new entry Demon’s Souls is well suited, as it is not only the first, but also not the hardest part of the series. However, if the souls games have always frustrated you, this will not change here.

Hitman 3

The right game for: all who own a PSVR headset or just want more Hitman.

Not so good for: all who expect great playful innovations.

Evil rating: 82 points

The Stealth Action Hitman 3 appeared in early 2021 now gets you now in the standard edition for 27.99 Euros instead of 69.99 euros. This contains both the PS4 and the PS5 version.

Much freedom: Hitman 3 consistently focuses on the strengths of the predecessor. We explore extensive and creatively designed levels, in which we are looking for the most elegant ways to do our destinations. This time, there are countless possibilities again, which ranges from brachial and bloody about still and secretly to simply absurd absurd. The charm of the game consists as always in the perfectization of our plan.

Intermediate sequences & VR: Progress is less in the gameplay than rather at the staging: one had to be satisfied with still images in Hitman 2, the story is now told in elaborate intermediate sequences. However, the greatest innovation is the VR mode in which your Agent 47 controls in the first-person perspective. Despite a few unclean animations, a completely new and very active feeling is offered here. Unless you have a PSV headset, you basically get two games in one.

Conclusion: For those who own a PSVR headset, the purchase of Hitman 3 is definitely worthwhile. Such a more efficient and extensive gaming experience is rarely commanded in VR. Even without a VR headset, you can easily access without hesitation, provided that you liked the predecessor and just lust on more Hitman. But you should not expect a further development of the game principle.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla + Immortals Fenyx Rising

10 GREAT PSN Game Deals UNDER $10 Right Now - SUPER CHEAP PS4 Games! (New PlayStation Deals 2022)
The right game for: all who can not get enough of large open-world games.

Not so good for: all to whom an exciting story is important.

Evil rating: 87 points (Immortals Fenyx Rising), 65 points (Assassin’s Creed Valhalla)

The two Open World Games Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Immortals Fenyx Rising gets her in bundle for 58.49 euros instead of 129.99 euros. If your PS plus has, you only pay 51.99 euros.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: In the recent part of the Assassin’s Creed series we play a wicking war or a novel. We start in Norway, but soon turn to Britain to build a new kingdom there. The main story is quite barren, but partly more exciting stories are told in the individual regions. The gameplay essentially follows the formula of Odyssey and Origins, but there are a few new ideas such as robberies in which we use resources for building our villages.

Immortals Fenyx Rising: In Immortals Fenyx Rising, we have to save a game world based on Greek mythology by assisting the gods in the fight against a fire dusk. In doing so, we explore four regions, each subject to a God and differably different from each other. The gameplay offers a similar mix of fight, exploration and puzzles, as you know you from Zelda games. Against monsters such as cyclopics and harpyen, we set ourselves with sword, bow and gods forces to weir.

Conclusion: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla could not convince us in the test, which was partly on the bugs of the release version, but also to the weakly written quests. Of other critics, Valhalla was praised for his viking atmosphere and its new gameplay ideas. By contrast, we were positively surprised by Immortals Fenyx Rising. Here, both the varied Open World and the Gameplay reminiscent of Zelda enjoyed us very much.
